We know this as community development practitioners.<\/p>\n

Our funders know it too.<\/p>\n

So why do we still so often corrupt the\u00a0community\u00a0development\u00a0process in order to impose the\u00a0strategic\u00a0objectives of our planners and policy makers on the grass roots? \u00a0Just to pay the mortgage?<\/p>\n

\nMother Glasgow watches all her weans
\nTrying hard to feed her little starlings
\nUnconsciously she clips their little wings<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Are we still clipping wings….?<\/p>\n
